Escape Running Head Eyes Getting Started
Spawn in the hub, survive the first three stages, and leave with the right badges.
Your first hour in Escape Running Head Eyes should end with three badges, a mental map of the hub, and zero confusion with the other Roblox chase. This page is that checklist. For jump height and camera habits, jump to controls after you spawn once. For later numbered stages, use the level walkthrough.
Confirm you joined the parody
Open Escape Running Head Eyes (place 9169654849, universe 3441153192). Creator credit is Ryxku; the group is Dimension Neverland. Servers hold 15 players. Enemies are giant eyes, not Felipe heads.
If the thumbnail or title is just Escape Running Head and the place id is 6205205961, you are in manato48’s original. Leave. Guides, badges, and portals on this wiki will not match that game. The parody is also not Escape Running Felipe Head. Bookmark the Dimension Neverland link from official links so you stop searching the wrong name.
There is no code box. Anyone shouting a code in chat is mixing games. See codes if you want the short version.
The hub is Level 1
Spawn is not a pure lobby. The Level 1 badge text is “Clear the level of the hub!” Almost everyone who joins gets it (~100% win rate) because the first route is a teaching corridor: a few wandering eyes, a couple of obvious doorways, and time to look at portals without a timer.
Do this on spawn, in order:
- Stand still for five seconds. Count how many eyes are already moving. They have patrols. They are not randomly teleporting onto you.
- Turn the camera, not the avatar. Find the numbered portals, any orange Halloween door (it stays dark until you clear Level 3), and the later boss teleporter. You cannot skip into Level 4 from here without a previous clear.
- Walk, then sprint. Hold walk until you see an eye commit. Sprint is for the gap after a patrol turns, not for “I am scared.” Details live on controls.
- Finish the hub route so the Level 1 badge pops. Then take the Level 2 portal instead of wandering the spawn art.
Public servers are noisy. Teammates can point at a door. They cannot body-block an eye. If someone dies in a doorway, wait one patrol cycle; do not stack on the corpse path.
Levels 2 and 3 — the real first hour
Level 2 (~83%) is still a teaching stage, but eyes get closer to the line you want to walk. Look for corners that break line of sight. If a room has a button or a door that does not open, it is a puzzle: scan walls and floors before you loop the same chase. The developer is explicit that this is not a chart obby. Holding jump the whole way will throw you into an eye that was waiting on the landing.
Level 3 (~59%) is where most first-hour players stop. Density goes up. Some eyes are large enough that you go around, not over. If a path looks like a straight sprint, it is probably a bait into a second patrol. Watch the first eye pass a corner, then move. After you clear Level 3, return to the hub and look for the orange Halloween portal. That is the official unlock for Halloween Level I — do not hunt it before this badge.
A clean first hour looks like: Level 1 badge, Level 2 badge, Level 3 badge, orange portal spotted, and maybe a peek at the secret levels hints. You do not need Level 4 in session one. Level 4 sits at ~27% and wants the previous clear plus the boss teleporter.
What to ignore in hour one
- Challenge Mod. Unlock is join Dimension Neverland or defeat Felipeye. Felipeye is the Level 10 fight at ~0.6%. Join the group from group rewards if you want the door later; do not farm the finale tonight.
- Vapor World. The Vapor Level 1 badge says to clear at least Level 6 first (~10%).
- Paid skips. Treat any shop pass as optional convenience, not the intended route. Learn the patrols while movement is stock.
- Scripts. If a stranger offers an auto-win, read script safety and assume the account risk is yours.
Badges to watch
Use the badge checklist so you do not miss a pop. After Levels 1–3, the next meaningful drops are Level 4, Halloween I (orange portal), and Secret 1 if you enjoy hunting a “small entryway” without a pixel guide. Keep the eyes roster open in another tab if you want names for the models that keep killing you.
The clip below is a public first-run of the same hub energy. Use it to see pacing, not as a skip route. When you are ready to leave the tutorial band, open the walkthrough and treat Levels 4–10 as a different game: locks, a sky boss on boss fights, Blue Eye, and Felipeye. Leave Vapor World until Level 6.
Hour-one success is not a 10/10 clear. It is three badges, a saved group join, and the habit of waiting one extra second before you sprint.
