Route Planner

Ryxku lists about 30 minutes for the ten main levels and about 90 minutes for the entire game. This planner sequences portals so you do not find the orange hub door after Felipeye.

Suggested order:

Main 1-3 → Halloween portal → main 4-6 → Vapor World → main 7-10 Felipeye → Challenge Mod if the group is joined.

Tick each grant on the badge checklist. Join Dimension Neverland before you spawn so Challenge is waiting at the end. This is not manato48’s Escape Running Head; do not import a twelve-stage Felipe route.

Block A — Main 1-3 (8-12 minutes)

Level 1 is the hub. Learn controls, then clear 2 and 3. First visits land closer to 15 minutes if eyes still surprise you. The Getting Started page is enough; you do not need the full walkthrough yet unless a puzzle door stalls you.

When Level 3 toasts, stop. Do not queue Level 4. Return to the hub.

Block B — Halloween portal (15-25 minutes)

Halloween I’s official text: clear Level 3, go back to Level 1, find the orange portal. Run I, II, Skullaye, then III (III wants the boss done). First Halloween can eat 30 minutes. Veterans who already know the layouts can cut closer to 15.

Doing this now is cheaper than a second hub visit after Level 10. Details: Challenge / Halloween and bosses.

Block C — Main 4-6 (10-15 minutes)

Level 4 is the boss teleporter and safe checkpoint. Level 5 is the sky boss. Level 6 is the Vapor key. Read boss fights before 4 and 5 if you have been dying to teleports instead of eyes.

Clean runners sit near 10 minutes. First clears sit nearer 20. Do not skip 6; Vapor’s badges all say “clear at least the Level 6.”

Block D — Vapor World (15-20 minutes)

Run Vapor 1, Vapor 2, then Death Sun. Death Sun wants Boomburst and the castle before the sun fight. The Vapor 2 badge is newer than the stage (April 2026), so a toast here can be the first time a returning player is awarded it.

Use the Vapor World guide. Aesthetic is loud; checkpoints are still picky. Budget 25 minutes if you have never seen Boomburst.

Block E — Main 7-10 Felipeye (15-20 minutes)

Levels 7-9 step the rarity off a cliff (about 5 percent down to 1.8). Level 10 is Felipeye, official text “main antagonist.” This block is the rest of that 30-minute main-campaign estimate. Wipe retries add 5-10 minutes; that is normal.

A Felipeye win is also Challenge access if you somehow skipped the group. You should already be in Dimension Neverland from the start of this plan.

Block F — Challenge Mod (20-30 minutes)

Only after the group flag or Felipeye. Order: Challenge 1-2, 3-4, 5, then 6-7 (6-7 wants the small Challenge boss done). This is the steepest set on the modes tier list. First full Challenge can overshoot 30 minutes. Do not sandwich it between 4 and 6; you want main-campaign muscle memory first.

Secrets as detours, not a seventh block

Secret 1 is an entryway, Secret 2 a hole, Secret 3 a house (April 2026). Grab them when you notice the tell on a main level you are already running. Parking all three until the end means replaying corridors you have already left. Secret levels has the tells. Budget 15-20 extra minutes across the session, not a separate marathon.

Session math

  • Main only, no events: ~30 minutes (developer figure).
  • This planner without secrets: ~80-90 minutes on a first serious attempt.
  • This planner plus secrets: ~90-110 minutes.
  • Speedrunners who already hold the badges can compress events, but the portal gates do not move.

If a block runs long, stop after a toast, not mid-boss.

Skip codes (none), scripts (empty, and skip tools miss teleporters), and sequel stages from Escape Running Head Eyes 2.

Keep the checklist in another tab. The last Challenge toast ends the intended set.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers for new and returning players.

Why do Halloween before Level 4?

The orange portal opens after Level 3 and lives in the hub. Running it before the boss teleporter avoids a late backtrack.

Why is Vapor after Level 6, not after Felipeye?

Official Vapor badges require Level 6, not Level 10. Inserting Vapor there matches the grant and breaks up the late campaign.

When should I join the group?

Before you start. Challenge still sits at the end of the route, but you will not need a mid-session rejoin after Felipeye.

Where do secrets fit?

As detours from main levels when you see the entryway, hole, or house. Do not save all three for a tired final lap unless you enjoy backtracking.

How long is a full clear?

About 30 minutes for main 1-10, about 90 minutes for everything. First full runs with Halloween, Vapor, Challenge, and secrets often land near 90-110 minutes.

Can I run Challenge first if I already joined the group?

You can, but the planner puts it last because those stages are harder. Learn eyes and bosses on the main campaign first.
